My own design attempts
From trying out some simple designs i feel there are two in particular that i am interested in try
ing out. (skull, ace of spades.)
Chris Garver
I first saw this tattoo artiest on a television programme called "Miami Ink" I wanted to look into another tattoo artiest as i really liked some of the designs by Scott Cambell.
With these tattoo designs they have quite striking images that stand out as well as them being created to look rounded with depth.
These images are a lot more detailed and have a lot more going on in them so only doing them in black and white means that there is even more depth than before and the images look a lot more realistic. But i think that i would have a hard time producing something of this level of detail but i will not just count it out yet.

Scott Cambell
Scott Cambell is a well known tattoo artist from the USA, but as of late he has been also working on objects to sell. He has been using a laser to burn his designs into and threw the products. I really liked the designs them selves but as an overall product i felt they worked in a powerful captivating way.
From looking at Scott's work i feel that i could try to come up with something similar.
Here he has burned into work to create some intricate designs and pattern work as well as doing this onto the green leather of the pillow.
Here you can see that he has painted this period chair black and then laser his designs on the leather which has been upholstered to create a "dark" feeling piece. On the right he has laser another skull threw the first few layers of this warn book which creates this slightly "dark/ neglected" look to the piece. From looking at Scott's work i feel that i could try to come up with something similar.
Proposal
For this project i intend of finding objects that people do not want whether its second hand found or something i know someone does not want, and turn that into a renewed object that could be sold or has demand for it. I am going to look into some artists and designs who are conscious of the environment when they create there work but also work that i enjoy as a consumer myself.

Revamping,
The thing to do these days is to be more green and re-cycle as much as possible as well as make easy consume decisions about what you buy and consume. but even chucking unwanted objects into a recycling bin isn't that great. There is still a whole range of nessary things that have to be done to the product to bring it done to its raw materials and then remade into something agin useable. The other thing to do is instead of throwing out an object is to customise it and revamp the product into something that as a consumer would want, and there fore adding value to the item.

Evauation
With this project i am happy with my final piece as it is striking and eye catching as well as a still usable telephone booth. I originally looked at various forms of the phone box but found the most common was the newer standard one and for the ideas i had in my head it was the best choice. The idea behind basing the theme on skate boarding and BMXing is because i skateboard so had a lot of back ground knowledge and i like the designs of the companies and quickly engaged the ideas to the phone booth. I found that my ideas grew quickly and were quite fluid and so the project itself was enjoyable. I liked how it was negotiated so i could plan my time around how i preferred to work with this project, i had a lot of freedom to explore a subject i enjoy a lot so the end result i felt came out better for it. I found that the materials i used were a good choice but i think if i was to make the phone booth again i would make it larger and out of wood so i could put the 2D aspect directly onto the box. I would also like to have used more artiest influences as the salvador dali idea was very successful as it stands out and it unusual. I think that maybe having multiple phone booths would have made the project also quite interesting as i could have larger, more of or over sized objects and posters to enhance the theme. Over all i feel that the project was a success and my end result was what i was looking for.
